You will be passionate about creating an exceptional employee and guest experience. To make sure this happens every time you will lead, train, direct, coach and motivate the Front Desk team, scheduling and organizing all their activities. What you do is imperative to the smooth and successful operation of Accent Inns and you take pride in that.

Responsibilities include:

·        Create and inspire the team through a vision that is centered around creating an awesome guest experience at every touchpoint

·        Resolve guest complaints and review all guest feedback, making changes as needed to ensure a high standard of guest service. Proactively responding to all guest feedback (in-house and post-stay, guest reviews etc)

·        Prepare weekly scheduling for front desk team. Assist management in overseeing & monitoring labour, payroll and scheduling and adapt based on fluctuating business needs

·        Build employee engagement through education and active promotion of our values and purpose, company benefits and employee programs. Align recognition to performance and contribution, and act as a culture champion for your property

What You Need

·        Proficient in Guest Services (1-3 years experience)

·        Proven leadership potential

·        Post-secondary education in Hospitality is an asset, but not necessary

·        Customer service/hotel/ hospitality/supervisory experience is an asset

·        Leadership, integrity, and effective coaching skills

·        Exceptional organization and coordination skills

·        Impeccable eye for detail

·        First aid an asset

As a Happiness Expert you deliver on three main pillars:

1)    Create memorable brand touchpoints that drives loyalty

• Thousands of conversations happen in our Happiness Hub and these conversations are our opportunity to make people love us. Make every conversation count - contacting the Happiness Hub either by phone, email, SMS or social should reinforce our brands and make every customer smile

2)    Drives sales by booking more rooms and maximizing yield

• Don't leave any money on the table. Ask questions to uncover opportunities, use storytelling to showcase why our properties are the perfect fit for the customer and ask for the sale.

3)    Be the communications and service center for customers

• Help us deliver outstanding customer service on property by capturing customer information when you make reservations so it is shared with our properties.
• Set expectations and showcase hotel amenities pertinent to the customer conversations. Suggest local events or restaurants to enhance their stay.
• Drive loyalty for our important preferred corporate clients, groups and travel trade customers with outstanding and seamless service and communications.

• Must be available weekends & evenings (latest shift time ends at 11:30pm) 
• Previous sales and/or hotel experience is preferred

What You'll Do

As 1st Cook you'll be responsible for smooth execution, organization, and cooking of all food requirements at ROAR. The 1st Cook plays a key role in development and attention to Health and Safety practices and as such is role model, coach, leader, and ambassador. Key aspects of the role include:

•  Manages food quality, portion control and plate presentation through 100% recipe adherence throughout the team
•  Supports head Chef in culinary direction by providing specials and new menu ideas
•  Lead by example throughout entire shift
• Train and coach new and existing employees
• Assist kitchen Leadership team in maintaining and improving Labour and Food Costs
• Supervise standards of cleanliness, timing, organization, production, food quality, and consistency through ensuring completion of operational checklists
• Monitors and leads by example in kitchen cleanliness
• Ensure all products are prepared, held, and served at correct temperatures and correct visual appearance
• Accurately complete all orders with uncompromising quality and consistency

Job Requirements

• 3 -5 years culinary experience in a full-service restaurant

• Must be responsible, able to take initiative, maintain supervision in a fast-paced high-energy environment
• Creative, energetic, with good interpersonal and communication skills
