What You Do
As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you are responsible for supporting the General and Assistant Managers with the overall operations of the hotel focused on creating an exceptional employee experience and guest experience in a high performing operational environment. 

• You assist in building and maintaining a performance-based culture that embodies our company values, where team members are accountable to outcomes and where ideas and contributions are valued and appreciated 
• You are training, coaching and developing your team to be the best they can be in their roles: 
  • Daily teaching, coaching and advising your team, providing feedback on a constant basis using our company feedback model 
  • Addressing performance issues immediately with the support of management using coaching, training or discipline as the situation warrants, at the discretion of management or HR
  • Participating with management in performance reviews  
• You are building employee engagement through education and active promotion of our values and purpose, company benefits and employee programs. Align recognition to performance and contribution, and act as a culture champion for your property 
• Prepare weekly scheduling for your departments. Assist management in overseeing & monitoring all labour, payroll and scheduling and adapt based on fluctuating business needs 
• Flexibility to cover shifts as needed. Providing management (GM/HM/AM) coverage as needed
• Ensuring effective communication between departments and other properties (as needed) 

What You Need

• Must be available weekends  
• Fun loving nature
• 1-2 years of supervisory experience is preferred
• Post-secondary education in hospitality is considered an asset but not required
• A love of team building and the ability to adapt and support the operation and leadership team
• Able and capable of safely lifting, carrying and pushing heavy loads and a willingness to jump in to support the operation
• Housekeeping experience preferred, but we will train the right person

What You Do
Housepersons help keep our hotels clean, organized and running smoothly.You are often the go-to support person on property. No two days look the same, and success in this role comes from taking initiative, staying organized, and looking for ways to help wherever needed. By supporting our Housekeeping and Front Desk teams, you help create great guest experiences while ensuring our team members have the supplies, equipment and support they need to work efficiently and safely. Whether responding to a guest request, stripping rooms,maintainingpublic spaces, orhelping keep storage areas organized, youplayan important roleinteamwork andmaking everything better.

Guest Experience

• Create a welcoming environment by keeping public areas clean, organized and guest readythroughout the day. 
• Respond promptly to guest requests by delivering towels, amenities, playpens, and other items. 
• Engage with guests in a friendly and authentic way,recognizing opportunities to connect, offer help, and make someone’s day a little better. 

Operational Excellence

• Clean andmaintainthe lobby, amenities, hallways, stairwells, public washrooms, staff areas,entrancesand exterior spaces. 
• Assistwith receiving orders and putting supplies away in the correct storage areas. 
• Help keep closets, storage rooms, linen areas and supply spaces clean, organized, stocked and easy for the team to use. 
• Collect, sort and transport dirty linen, recycling,compostand garbage safely and efficiently. 
• Support the housekeeping team during busy periods byassistingwith operational tasks and room turnaround.
• Complete deep cleaning projects and other assigned tasks that contribute to the overall appearance and condition of the property.

What You Need

• Must be available weekends  
• Fun loving nature
• Comfortable communicating with guests and team members in a friendly, clear, and professional way. 
• An obsession for neatness and the ability to take ownership and proactively address cleanliness. 
• Able to work happily on your own, as a team and with guests.
• Able to safely lift, push, pull, bend, reach, and be on your feet for extended periods throughout the shift. Abletoliftupto35-40pounds. 
• Previoushousekeeping, janitorial, hospitality, or guest service experience is an asset, but notrequired.
